I want to vacation 1/2 in Nassau Bahamas 1/2 in Fort Lauderdale, is there an economical ferry/boat/ship?

I can't decide on only one destination, and want to see both places, and going by plane between the two is a huge hassle for wheelchair person for such a relatively short flight

Check out the cruise/hotel packages on Imperial Majesty's Regal Empress. It's a classic ship, affordable but not particularly wheelchair friendly.

We did the same thing a couple of years ago and took Jet Blue from Boston to Ft Lauderdale and then Spirit airlines from Ft Lauderdale to Nassau. I think Jet Blue may even go to Nassua now also.

hi there is only a ferry boat to and from freeport bahamas check it out www.discoverycruiseline.com i know its not nassau but freeport is just as nice

Just take the plane.  They will accomodate you.  I don't think there is a ferry boat.
