  1. i wish you best of luck.  very nice and beautiful place.  you can get nice accommodations and enjoy the beach and natures.

  2. Visit www.goa-and-hotels.com

  3. i went to goa for a christmas it was very hot and nice only 1 problem i found the flies were awful every time i went to eat food there was flys i had to eat package food but other then that the people were friendly and well coming u should ty look for a hotel that has good recommendations when i stayed i stayed in a **** hole no tv not AIR CON OK I CANT STRESS HOW MUCH GET A ROOM WITH AIR CON enjoy ur trip

  4. Holiday Inn, Leela and Hyatt are good hotels..

  5. check out the source below for all your Goa info

    have a blast

  6. first it will be really expensive to get there - busiest time.

i have never encountered fly problems - been going 12 years

    twice a year.

you would be best to rent a room - google goa and rooms to let

candolim is very nice and lots of families let rooms -

unless your a wimp you don't need a/c at xmas - all rooms

have large fans. you can request a fridge which they will

normaly have to rent for you though some do have them.

best places in candolim are to be found on the beach side

of main road. take a taxi from airport - cheap and ask

for the car park at beach road at candolim - he may have to ask a local when you get near there.

from carpark follow road to left - go passed silver sands hotel

a semi dried up pond and you will walk along a road at end of pond turn right - up this small road are loads of houses

with rooms to rent - you can ask to see the room first - u can

try and haggle price - a good way is to pay all up front. for a small charge they will do your washing for you too.

the beach is a few mins walk and the best shack is splash

    shack

you can survive without  a fridge - everything is cheap

there is a tiny shop literally just passed the turn you take

to the rooms - you can get water and basics there.

    enjoy

new years eve on beach is fantastic.

words of warning - don't hire a bike the roads are lethal

and you are likely to get fined by the very corrupt police.

between xmas and new year indians flock to goa - and they

are not used to seeing so many europeans and cheap drin.k

the main road is chaotic on new years eve.

the goans however have seen it all and are really nice and

    laid back.

lay off the local girls - it is not done - there will be plenty

    of europeans to play with.

if you don't want a room try walk into a hotel but rates will

    be higher at this time.

also the locals will look after you - give you tips etc.

may see u there going for 3 weeks and staying up that road.

would give you name but we have the last room - of two!

please remember everyhting will be basic but should be clean.if you book a famly room in advance ask them to get a taxi to pick you up from airport and whill take you there - will

    prob be a family member

  7. we go there every year, book the north that's where it all happens,  candolim is nice can be a bit quite, baga is good  for fun and  theres a good disco,  book beach side hotels,  food is brill,  have a good 1
