I want to visit the UK and Spain?

i am a U.S. born Citizen do i need to apply for any visas or can i just use my passport

  1. it depends on how long you will be going for and if you plan to work at all. If it's just a vacation you just need a passport for these countries. Happy travels~


  2. You don't need a visa to visit the UK, you sign a visa waiver form and can get up to 180 days here....in exactly the same way that UK citizens do when they visit the US.

    I admit I'm not 100% sure about Spain since I've never been there but would argue that since it's a European country the same will apply....I've been to France and Belgium that way, without a visa and just using a passport.

  3. Just use your passport, visas are not necessary.

    US passport holders to Spain are automatically granted a visa.  This enables you to enter the Schengen Zone (most of Western Europe including Spain) and stay for 90 days out of every 180 days in this area.
