I want to visit to my fiancee?

i want to visit to my fiancee who has been living in UK for the last 2 years. He was on student visa but now is on residency permit. so, i just want to know that what are the documents he has to show(as he is sponsoring me) and what documents i have to show for getting the visa.

This depends on your nationality...which you have not stated here. .. .   Oh.. I just noticed...it looks like you are Australian.  If you are an Australian citizen, you do not need a visa to visit the U.K. for up to 6 months.  See site below, enter your nationality and destination and click for the info and you will see that a visa is not needed.
