where do u live? I work at an animal shelter in Ontario, Canada, but I think they don't have the one I work at in the U.S.?

No where.

No offense, but no job lets you PLAY WITH ANIMALS.

If you volunteer somewhere, you clean out animals, you feed them, you do paper work.

At best, you'll walk some dogs once a day.

There is no animal job where you get to play with them- animals amuse themselves, and playing with them is called pet ownership, not a job.

You should go to the local SPCA or animal shelter, and ask if you can help there. There are different positions, and you even get paid for it! I think... If you want a position to play with animals, there is one where I think all you have to do is like play with them everyday or something! Give it a try! Good Luck!

It depends on the age. When you volunteer at a petstore or a animal shelter you either have to feed or clean out the cages. Where I live you have to be over 20 to walk dogs.

an animal shelter. i volunteer at a no kill animal shelter, and i get to chose between: feeding/watering cats, playing with cats, playing with large dogs, & playing with small dogs.

i mainly play with large dogs & sometimes small dogs (they get enough attention from other volunteers). it is very fun. i give them treats, brush them, play with them, walk them, & let them roam around off the leash in the designated roaming area.

i am glad to hear that you want to play with animals & contribute to the community. it is a very rewarding experience & i feel so close to many of the dogs.

to find shelters in your area just google it & fill out a volunteer application at the shelter or online if it is an option(you usually need to be 18+ ) .
