I am a UK citizen with very little french but a great willingness to learn. I would like to volunteer for quite a while maybe 4 months. I would also like to be near the coast, around Bordeaux or on the south west coast. I have volunteered before in catholic missions in palestine and enjoyed it very much. I have some skills in gardening and woodland work.

  1. Probably the best place is here

    www.vocation-network.org

Its main purpose is to foster religious vocations, but it also has advertisments for groups who need people to help in their missions.

  2. the people in france are christian.its pretentious to assume that they will convert to catholicism.

  3. Contact you diocesan office for missions about ways to volunteer overseas including in France.

Here is some information from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Missions website: http://www.missionsla.org/missionhome/mi...

    With love in Christ.
