  1. you can go to peta.com to learn more about helping animals

  2. Many individuals are sending care packages to our service men.  They collect things from the community in which they live and send it over seas.  You could do the same for children in foreign countries.  Contact "Save the Children" or any other over seas agency.  Ask if you could put together care packages with make up, combs, hair and skin products, yo-yos, spinning tops, simple toys.

Since your 15, your mom might not like you going door to door to collect stuff.

Does your church have a food pantry? Volunteer.

  3. i dunno about that but you could volunteer at your school

  4. www.thepencilproject.com

Easy and rewarding and you WILL be making a difference!!!

  5. Some kids are animals so if you helps them, you are doing both.

  6. You can find listings for thousands of organizations, many of them in your area and many of them with an animal focus, here:

    VolunteerMatch, http://www.volunteermatch.org

    Idealist, http://www.idealist.org

    Change.org, http://www.change.org

    CraigsList, http://www.craigslist.com

    Network for Good, http://www.networkforgood.org

    http://www.1-800-volunteer.org/

    ServeNet, http://servenet.org/

Also, contact your local volunteer center; you can find this via the Points of Light Foundation web site, http://www.pointsoflight.org/centers/

There's also this government sponsored site, http://volunteer.gov/gov/ which provides volunteer positions through USA federal land agencies like Fish & Wildlife, Forest Service, National Parks, etc.

Given your age, I would suggest you figure out our public transport options -- what buses come nearest to your house,  at what times, and do they have bike racks? You will want to figure out what opportunities are easiest for you to get to via this option, as you won't be reliant on anyone else's schedule in order to be available for volunteering. You also need to decide what times of the week you want to volunteer, and COMMIT to such -- don't sign up to volunteer and then cancel.

Approach this in a mature manner, and you will have many, many great experiences as a volunteer, and create a foundation on which to build on for your future career.

  7. almost any animal shelter will accept help rather it is feeding or walking the dogs they are more often than not overwhelmed.

As for helping kids why not get involved at a church youth group in your town.  The youth minister should be able to get you plugged in somewhere even if it is just like a mother's day out program or something!

Good luck and I am glad to see that someone so young is already trying to make a difference in  the world as someone that works with teens this makes me happy to see!

  8. animals, kids r annoying as h**l
