My girl is a 7th grader, my boy a second grader. I have a pass to the Zoo and CPR, all that, I'm 35.Single parent, education background.

Best thing would be to post an ad in the paper.  You can also try sittercity.com or craigslist, but there are many scams there.  I know my mom got a lot of business when she put an ad in the paper stating she was a mom herself.

If you go to social services they will put you in touch with parents who need child care.

Other than that-post signs or try the free puppy thing-

1.)Buy a van with little or no windows.

2.)Steal a basket full of puppies from the local pet center

3.) Make a shotty looking sign that says "FREE PUPPIES"

4.) Go find a park

5.) Open side doors of the van. Place the sign right next to the open doors, but be sure not to block the view of the puppies. Display the puppies on the edge of the van.

6.) Don't let kids take the puppies out of the van. Make sure they come in the van to play with them.

This should net you at least 3 children before the police show up.
