Many thanks for any ideas (guess the answer is something to do with using a UK "front end" web proxy service? Not sure how to do this)

  1. The BBC only accepts genuine UK ISPs. Anything else it rejects proxies included. I mean it's hardly rocket science is it?

Your TV licence makes no difference.

  2. Sewrob is right, I live in Spain and even after setting up various proxy front ends which allowed me to set up an account when it came to the act of downloading the software their end found my true IP address and blocked me

This was channel 4 and five anyway. I haven't even bothered to try with iplayer

  3. You won't get the internet, as we know it, in KSA anyway. They run their own Intranet, according to Islamic Law. The only way to get even e-mail is to use a mobile connection to an old-style modem pickup....... and that costs!
