We have never been the the theater together and I wanted her to get to watch a show. I can only think of Lion king but what are some other kid friendly shows she can watch.

  1. It really depends on your daughter. all shows in London are long and she might get bored and wriggly like I did (and I'm 18) The shows are really good but after 2 hours you want to get up and move and do something else. Lion King is a really good show though so you will both enjoy it loads.

  2. Lion king is a good bet, but there are loads of other really great shows going on in London at the moment. Check events listings for other ideas, I use:

Also, catching the matinee rather than evening show might be a good idea, as there will be loads of other parents with their kids there so you don't need to worry if she does get fidgety or noisy:)

  3. wicked is good for children, it's the story prior to wizard of Oz and how the green witch the lion/tin man etc came along. It's magnificent

  4. My son is 4 and he's been to pantomimes which were 2 hours long and he enjoyed the theatre so much he didn't care how long the performance was! I want to take him to London to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Joseph, High School Musical...all of which I think are still on show.
