  1. Do exactly what the first answerer said and you will have picture, but no sound. DVI doesn't carry sound.

    You will also need a cable to connect your sound card to your TV. If your computer has digital audio out, use that. It comes in two flavors, optical (square black connector) and coaxial digital. (orange RCA style connector)

    If your computer only has a mini plug (small green headphones style connector) out, you can convert that to red/white RCA style connectors for your TV.

    Radio Shack will have the HDMI/DVI adaptor and whichever thing you need for audio.


  2. All you need is a DVI to HDMI cable that could be picked up at any electronics retail shop. We're there!
