I want to watch what i see on my computer on a tv?

In school i see that teachers show what they are seeing on the computer on their tv. I want to do that at home. I know you need a cable. Does anyone know what the cable is called. Thank you.

It depends on what type of TV you have.  If it is a newer LCD then you probably have an HDMI input, check the back of the computer and see if you have an HDMI output and you're set (Easiest Senario).

If it is an older TV thats when things get a little complicated you might have to convert the output of the computer to the (Yellow/Red/White) cables that fit into the back.  Good luck.
