  1. look , I am 13 years old and I have reached puberity and I live in KSA but I am actually from Egypt , so when I decided to wear hijab , I did not feel sad because all of the people around me in KSA wear black hijab , then when we went to Egypt this year , I was wearing hijab and It was the first year for me to wear it . when I saw some people without it , especially young people like me , I felt the worst feeling ever because I can't swim without wearing the hijab , I have to wear the scarf , even going out in the balconi , I have to wear hijab !!!!   then , I told myself : I am not the only one who wears hijab , all my friends in class( my school is international so no saudis ) wear hijab , and the ppl in the street wear too and when I go to heaven , i will be the happiest  girl , I will be happier than who did not wear hijab because they take sayeqat , so I began to feel of positive thoughts ! and I felt that hijab is not that ugly !  I am telling u , If u wear hijab , u won't regret !!!! and I am a strong proof ! I am still 13 years old !                Hope for u the best life !

  2. With  obedience  deed to God . negative thoughts come because this is the work of the devil so be strong and do not fellow its calls

  3. You can change the style of wearing it, i mean, you can wear it in a way that your double chin doesnt show etc and at the same time it doesnt attract others. As far as i have seen people, i dont whu but this is true, they look better with their hijab on. It just psychological that we think that we might look ugly. Besides, whenever i wear it, it seems that some sort of a shield has appeared around me and i feel so safe and protected. its a beautiful feeling.

  4. dont listen to those thoughts, its the shaytan just trying to make you change your mind!.

  5. I am sure you will look a great deal better covered up than showing more of your hirstute facial features .

It is your choice, but remember that as a Muslim you can do whatever you want -if anyone disagrees tell them you will Jihad them--especially the UK government --they are the easiest to topple.

  6. Make up ur mind. Is it human thought that matters to u the most? Or their creator a.k.a Allaah SWT?

I'm sure u found ur answer by now.

    Salaam.

  7. That's good, so that now you can avoid the vain and insane people.

  8. that is shaytan so ignore these thoughts. Hijab is a beautiful thing. Royalty used to wear hijab back in the day both Muslims and non Muslims. Also as long as you wear your hijab every time somebody sees you, either man or woman, you will get hasanat. They say women who wore their hijab will come on the Day of Judgement to find mountains of hasanaat and not know where they came from! it was from the hijab.

Don't be afraid to show you're a muslimah.

  9. If you want to wear hijab, that is your choice. Remember you are doing this for Allah, no one else. There are many muslims who do not wear hijab, like me,so it is a personal choice. If you are really that self concious about looking ugly, just dress modestly and don't worry about wearing hijab.

  10. You are falling into saytans trap...be careful

I wear a scarf and I am really happy with it and I don't feel bad at all...at times when I go to Turkey I do hear people say stuff like "Look at her!" type of stuff but I don't care..

And no...it will not make you look ugly...you just have to ACT confident or otherwise mean people will try to make fun of you so that you remove it

    take care

    ;p

  11. I feel all women look feminine and dignified in hijab, and that's my opinion as a non-Muslim :)

As far as surface beauty goes, covering balances out your form and draws attention to your eyes. People will generally treat you in a more dignified manner as well, because hijab is such an outward sign of piety. They are speaking to you and your eyes, not your body or gender.

There are many styles to experiment with, and covering doesn't have to be costly. I bought my scarves at Wal-Mart and Target, and with layers and long tunics being in style now, you have many "in" options".

I will also say that wearing hijab has been a very powerful experience for me, especially as far as empathy goes: During Ramadan last year I was actually afraid to wear the scarf a few times because of my job, and then I became even firmer in my stance that no one should have to worry about being harassed for covering. Especially on the job: it looks so professional! :)

The sisterhood among other hijabi is very nice as well.

May you be blessed in your choice.

  12. Do the clouds covering the sun take away from the beauty of the sun?

If you want to marry someone who is God-conscious and pious, somebody that will strive with you in this life and be with you together in Paradise, then the hijab will infact help you "attract" such a person.

I pray that God guides me to be pious, but my friends and I were only looking to marry "hijabis" because they are following the commandments of God because THAT is the most important thing to us.

  13. Beauty/ugliness is actually defined more so by behavior, in my opinion. That is of course with beauty only as others are concerned. I say wear the hijab/scarf if you want to. Don't define you're own sense of self-worth by what you wear or how you look if you can help it.

  14. That's not true, I wear a hijab n i look so much better with it.. you won't have to worry about your hair looking frizzy or anything n people will respect you more lol like i have people hold doors for me when i have my scarf on but when i dun they just treat like anyone else

  15. erase those negative thoughts and keep saying to yourself i look beautiful because im sure you do !
