I like wearing american Eagle's Favorite Boyfriend jeans because they are comfortable and I liek the feel/look. I also like to wear really bright colored skinny jeans because they look freaking awesome and I feel good in them. I have a pair of Converse and a pair of Vans. If I were to switch between them daily or just whenever I feel like it, would I be thought of as a poser of some sort? Like, Monday & Tuesday I feel like wearing my skinnies and Converse, then on Wednesday-Friday of that week I feel like wearing my baggier jeans and Vans, would people "look down" on me or think of me as a poser? I'm not... I just like both styles and can't choose only one. What's your opinion?

  1. your so fake.

just dress how you want, you shouldnt care what other people think.

  2. No i actually think that's very cool. I kind of do the same thing one day really girlyand chic. Then the next day laid back and relaxed with snkeakers. It all depends on the mood and occasion. If anything you are just really versatile and there isnt nothing wrong with that. Infact I think that's a good thing. I am versatile myself it gets boring sticking to ONE style. You gotta switch up sometimes. Just do what you feel and want to! =)

    hope i helped =)

  3. If thats what you like your not a poser, you should wear what makes you happy if that means two diffrent styles then go for it.

  4. Maybe you should just wear a potato sack and stop worrying about looking like a poser.

  5. Just wear whatever you want. You don't have to stick to one style and look the same every day, you can mix it up and change your styles if you want! If you like it, wear it. You can wear whatever you feel like wearing. There is no rule that everyone has to be punk, preppy, scene, goth, emo, etc. They can be whatever they want and wear whatever they want.

Don't worry about people labelling you, because if they do they are just jealous and need to find something else to worry about. Plus, if you change your style around from day to day, there is a less chance you will get labelled because people won't know what to label you if you wear different styles!

  6. Uhh no. Its like saying you can't wear a tee shirt one day and a sweater the next, its not poserish its having a tiny little bit of variety, something most teens these days fail to have.

  7. Im going to tell you what a psychologist once told me....

"You cant change people's way of thinking about you"

With that said.. if they think youre a poser... are you?

When someone criticises you, you can either Accept or Reject... soo if you believe youre a poser then go ahead and care what they say, if you dont feel like a poser at all then let them talk... after all who wrote down a law saying that you have to wear certain things  or only certain people could wear clothes to be "prep" "goth" "ghetto" "emo"??... those are just stereotypes given by people that dont feel comfortable in their own skin....

My friend wears high heels and high fashion  clothes some days, and other days she wears converse jeans and band shirts... and we dont think of her as a poser.. its what she feels comfortable in.

    Wear what you want!!!!

  8. the only people who are "posers" are the ones who play exactly by the rules. the real ones wear whatever they want to and don't give a d**n.

  9. If everyone went through life worrying about what others thought of their personal style, we would be stuck in the 50's with big poufy dresses. And wouldn't have style icons like madonna, mary kate, and kate moss. Wear want you want.

  10. wear what you want and say exactly what you just said; you like it and feel comfortable

if people honestly care if you "mix styles" then they're not the kind of people who's judgements should make you feel bad

  11. No I don't think so. I wouldn't wear two pairs of bright colored skinny's in a row though. Maybe wear a pair of regular and then a pair of skinny's and then another pair of regulars and then a pair of skinny's and so on and so on.

  12. no...if you like both styles then wear them both
