That is how these free websites work. They give you free stuff, sure, but the price is your PC getting loaded with spam, spyware and viruses.

There is, but it's not win or not win.  It's just simply FREE.  For most items you'll have to just fill your name and address(don't even have to be real name).  Then they will mail it to you.

If you want something better(mostly used, but great and otherwise expensive) and don't mind picking it up yourself, go to

craigslist.com

Under the "for sale" category, there is a "free" sub-cat.  Look back in there offen, sometime there are incredible stuff like flat screen TVs, even Plasma.

You know, there is an old expression, "There's no such thing as a free lunch."

Sure it would be nice to be able to win lots of prizes.  Heck, I'd like to win a BMW M3 or M5.  Perhaps an iPhone or Plasma TV.  But life doesn't work like that.

The vast majority of these sites are just going to do anything they can to get your personal information so they can bombard you with spam.  There are companies that make a business out of selling information from people silly enough to give it.

So realistically you are unlikely to find a good site that gives you something for nothing.

The closest you'll get is when TV shows offer competitions on their web sites.  Major TV channels are not going to sell your information to third parties, as they would get in a bunch of trouble.
