  1. Right now, dedicate yourself to focusing sharply on college preparation school subjects--emphasis on mathematics and sciences.

This will come in handy when you enter college to study marine biology.

Perhaps a major into veterinary medicine w/ a minor in marine biology might be more suitable; either way, they're steps in the right direction.

Allow your passion for this field of study to be the catalyst to acheive the success you seek, to accomplish the goals you set now for your future.  Good luck to you.

  2. Sure, you're going to need a good education, but if you live in the Los Angeles Area, you don't have to wait until you're older to work in an Aquarium, you can start today.  The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium in San Pedro (harbor area) had the largest volunteer force of any aquarium in the world last time I checked, and they welcome eager kids like long lost relatives.  By the time you finish college, you could have several years of very valuable experience behind you, and it would look great on your resume.

If you don't live near Los Angeles, there may be a museum, aquarium or even a water park near you where you could start getting valuable experience now, instead of later.
