I want to work for a year before uni.

Question

I want to work for a year before I head off to uni. Has anybody done anything interesting work-wise? I don't want to do volunteer work yet, I need cash!!! All answers welcome. Thanks

Best job I've ever had was to do promotional work, $15/hr per hr, look under craigslist under events under gigs. The only hard part is, you need to find out which company is legit before you work for them, lots of people have been screwed by not getting paid.

worked for six months in a crappy supermarket (*cough* somerfield) then spent six months travelling across america, scuba diving, and having a laugh.... not much money saved but so worth it...
