Is there a preference for a certain degree in this field? I am not so interested in studying International Relations or Political Science, but have a natural interest in those areas. I would prefer to study Economics, or even Anthropology or Psychology. Would I be making a mistake to do so?

  1. Any of those would work.  A liberal arts degree is to allow you to explore as many disciplines as you want.  Many people double or triple major as well.

  2. Economics, Anthropology and Psychology would all be good majors, coupled with a double major in Journalism, Communications or Pre-Law. You also need to have a great deal of volunteering experience with Human Right-focused organizations, in research and in advocacy activities.
