I want to work in Europe...What are my chances? Where should I apply??

I am a 30 year old American woman. I speak fluent English and French, and also enough Romanian, Italian, and Spanish to get by. I really want to work in Europe. I have a master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy and currently work as a Social Worker. I could also teach English but I have no TESL qualifications or teaching experience really. What are my options?? What are my chances of finding a job? I am especially interested in Romania as I know there are a lot of social problems there, and a lot of orphans, etc. I'd be willing to do an Internship. But I don't want to pay to work!

Any suggestions?? Thanks!!

This is a job posting for a teaching job in Romania.  In a lot of places you have to be an EU member to work there, but I don't think (not sure)  Romania is one of those places.  In this ad, there is no mention of it.

With a master's degree you will be accepted in places such as China, Korea, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. etc. even without teaching experience or a TESOL certificate.  However, I must say that it is extremely beneficial for you  and your students to have this TESOL training.  It will give you the confidence you need and help you to do a better job.  It will make it easier for you and cause you less confusion when you know exactly what you're supposed to be doing.  You can do an online course with Bridgelinguatec for about $350 which you can do at your own pace (took me about a month) and there you go!  You've got a TEFL and you'll know what you're doing!

Teaching in some of the more developed European countries such as France, Spain, etc.  is highly competitive and these jobs go to EU members only with proper teaching qualifications.

Good luck!  I highly recommend the experience of teaching in a foreign country.  I've been doing it for 5 years now, and it's great!
