  1. Well, the first thing you should do is to find a job :)

You can do that here : http://www.nationalvisas.com.au/jobs/job...

After that, since you only want to work for a year, you go online and check out the Australian working holiday visa. But before you can apply for that visa, you must pass the online assessment to determine your eligibility to apply for any type of Australian visa. Take a free online visa assessment here: http://www.nationalvisas.com.au/services...

After completing and passing the visa assessment, you can now apply for your visa! It's so simple online :D Be sure you have AU$5,000 to support your trip and back.

*Take note that this visa only allows you to work for the same employer not more than 6 months* You can see other requirements here: http://www.nationalvisas.com.au/working/...

    Good luck!

  2. You would probably fit quite neatly into the "young persons working holiday" visa criteria, assuming that you have no other disqualifications.

This visa is specifically designed for "young persons" aged 18-30 to visit Australia for an extended holiday  - 13 months but extendable in certain circumstances - and to finance themselves whilst here by short term working.

Very many indeed "young people" utilise this visa and have an absolute blast whilst here. Come on over!

For all of the answers to questions of this nature, visit the very informative government site:

    http://www.immi.gov.au

  3. The Working Holiday visa, for those aged 18-30, will be the best for you, depending where you come from.

    Working Holiday visa (subclass 417)

For people from Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan and United Kingdom

    or:

Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462)

For tertiary educated people from Chile, Thailand, Turkey and the USA to holiday and work in Australia.

  4. Easy.  Contact your nearest Australian Embassy for a 1-year working holiday visa.  Lots of young people there doing the same thing, and all seem to have a great time.

You can only stay 3 months in the one job, but that policy encourages you to see a bit more of the place than you might otherwise.

If you like Australia and want to stay longer, see if your employer will sponsor you. I met someone who went this route and is now there 3 years.

    Good luck!!
