I would like to pursue a career in the BAU. But I don't know a lot about it or what classes I should take for high school and go to college for, I'm going to be home schooled so I really don't know who to ask. But I had a couple questions.

If I was a special agent in the BAU what would be my job?/Title?

When you work there you are put on a team right? What are the different "things" each team member would be called?

I'm not sure if I worded the last question right...

I mean like would each person be specialized in different categories?

Is there a certain amount of people assigned to a team?

I know it's a lot of questions and some of them may not make sense, but I want to say thanks for everyone who answers!!!

  1. Sounds like someone has been watching the show Criminal Minds! If you are asking about being a profiler (which is the job title of the people on that show), the FBI does not have a position by this name. Profiling is does by SSA's assigned to the NCAVC. Check out the FBI website.

BAU is the acronym for Behavioral Analysis Unit.

  2. WHAT MEANS BAU?
