  1. Contact a cruise line and ask for a job application. They are not going to advertise for workers in the US because there would be few takers.

Cruise ships are not governed by US labor laws. The working conditions are tough--you work long hours seven days a week for several months then get your weekends all at once. Pay on cruise ships is poor by American standards.  Most of the workers come from third world countries where those wages are considered good.

  2. Dont used sites that are agencies, go directly to the spource, either the cruise lines itself or the concessions which are a lot easier

    www.hardingbros.co.uk

    and

    www.starboardcruise.com

both run shops on about 90% of all ships.

hardings is really easy, you apply trhu the site and they have a phone interview, if you pass they assign you a ship.

To work on the shops is a good position onboard, you are staff, not crew, better cabins, better facilities.

email me if you want more info

    are you Brazilian?

  3. first of all make sure you really want to work on one.  it isn't all the glitz you think it is.  you are isolated from the rest of the ship (mostly from the guests) while you are aboard.  but other than that if you are really really looking for a job go on one of their websites ex: princess cruises.  there is a job link, best of luck, but i say rethink the decision.

  4. Have a look at this site, it gives a list and description of all the jobs available on cruise ships. It will give you an idea of the positions available and what attributes you need to secure a position.

    http://www.cruisejobfinder.com/JobDescri...

Have a look at the cruise line sites, and see what positions are available, you can also find the address to write directly to the cruise line. Much better than using an agency.

    Good luck

  5. You can go directly to the cruise lines website and click on employment.  You should be able to find everything that you are looking for there.
