  1. If it's a diary - the subject of incest and how some families cover it up or ignore it.  The way individuals deal with it - some accept it and still lead normal, productive lives.  Interview me.

Or, about other types of "extended" families.  Not just stepparents and their children.. For instance, I live with my mother (who has not lived with my father for 10 years), a sister who is divorced because of her drug addiction, her daughter who is a single mom of a precious 18-month-old boy, and the main character - my 9-year-old niece who is the daughter of another alcoholic, drug-addicted sister.  She has to attend school and explain how she lives with her grandmother, two aunts, a cousin and her baby, and we all have different last names.  I have had custody through CPS since she was born.  We struggle financially, but are very happy and laugh a lot.  But she struggles with her identity.  I wish I had a good book for her to read about similar situations.

  2. I suggest writing blogs and practice using good grammar before you write a book.

When you do decide to write a book, it should come from Your imagination.

  3. No one else can tell you what to write anymore than you should let them tell you what to read. Think about what you like reading and what you know and start from there, but don't try to copy your favorite author. And whatever you do, PLEASE don't write another vampire novel.

  4. You know, the usual way round to do it is to come up with an idea first, then have it develop into a novel, not to decide to write a book with no thought about what's it's about so you have to go hunting for ideas...

But if there's something you want to read about, then write that. Chances are if you want to read something, plenty of other people will too.

  5. maybe you can write about your experience in your life. It can be more good if you like the theme about your book. If you like something, you can try to write it. why not?

  6. write whatever comes naturally to you

  7. I used to like the Sci-Fi channel, back when it was science fiction, so I would say we have a need for science fiction writers.

The 'Sci-Fi' channel is now showing professional wrestling, "joan of arcadia", and will soon be showing "lost", it seems that they have been infiltrated by non-science fiction fans that seem to have the opinion "it doesn't have to make sense, it's science fiction"...Ya, tell that to all those obsessive star trek fans.
