I want to write a story. ideas????

i really feel like writing a story. any ideas?? i was thinking maybe something fantasy, or maybe i want medievial, or just modern??? i mean i really don't know. please throw out all the ideas you have, even if you don't think they're all that great.

I think it should be about a girl who has had a bad life whose living w/ her uncle who is a con artist and she finds out she has powers I think it sounds cool !
