I want to write a thank you card to two teachers who wrote me letters of recommendation for precollege. Ideas?

I am giving two of my teachers from my last school year sweatshirts from Brown University, for writing me a letter of recommendation for Brown's precollege program. What should I say? I can get into Brown, but I can't write a thank you card

just tell them thax and because of what they wrote you got into your school

Buy some really nice cards or stationary, and make it personal to each teacher. Though you're delivering the same message, don't make them the same. Just tell you how much you appreciate the time they took for writing the letters, and maybe put a thing or two memorable from your classes with them. And sign it with a "sincerely".

say something like

'i just wanted to say thank you so much for the glowing recommendation letters, without you, i wouldnt have been accepted to brown. you truly made my future (i have no idea what im saying)'. thanks again. as a token of my appreciation here is a swearshirt.'
