I want to write a thank you note to my teacher, but....?

2morrow the principal is coming around to give out notes that we can write. i want to write one to my algebra teacher. i want to tell her how fun her class was. i was going to write about the time she talked to us about s*x, and c**p b/c if you were there it was die hard hilarious. im just afraid if the principal reads it he might think its weird and report it. i don't want to get her fired. i don't even know if the principal reads this. should i risk it anyway, or just tell her the class was fun w/out mentioning that?

Don't risk it.  If taken the wrong way, she could lose her job.  Seriously.

If you want to, mention that there was a day when she was talking about something 'random' and 'hilarious.'

Say what's on your mind.  You can mention that she had a fun class without necessarily mentioning a specific class that might be embarrassing or anything.  She will get the message that you are sending, that way the principal doesn't have to know the details.

just tell her thanks(in your own way) and tell her that it is really fun. DO NOT***** mention the s*x. even if it was an innocent joke thing, she could be fired or have a law suit. it was very inappropriat to bring it up though.

Don't mention it, or mention it without talking about what actually was said, because you could hurt the teacher otherwise.  She is supposed to be teaching you algebra, not s*x.

I agree, it's a bad idea to repeat this occurrence in a letter. It may be misunderstood. Write something nice that doesn't mention anything like that. If you really like this teacher then do them that favor. Just tell them thank you for being such a cool teacher or something along those lines.
