  1. A lot of girls and women seem to like yellow and black.

  2. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a pale green like "white mint" (# 6441) and "cloak gray" (# 6278) would look terrific.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  3. Well, what kind of colors do you like?

There are many options when painting a room! :D

You could do two of the same color.

For example, a light green and a darker green.

Or you could do contrasting colors like blue and yellow.

    Hope this helps!

  4. try putting together like a navy blue and a light lime green, or a dark purple and a gold, light pink, or soft yellow

  5. look at the color wheel and colors on opposite ends usually go together.

  6. It depends on the things you like. If you like the spring and summer time you might want to decorate your room with a bumble bee theme and make the walls yellow and black. A friend of mine wanted an old fashioned feel to her room so she painted her walls white and black - she even decorated her room with black and whit furniture. Dark red and white can be pretty - but I hear red is a difficult color to paint because of the highlights mixed into the paint, sometimes it takes a very long time to dry almost 15 hours between coats. My sister is trying to get some colors together right now so we can pait her room too. She likes watermellon so we're going to paint all the walls with green stripes fill in the rest with pink and paint seeds on the walls.  Good luck choosing your colors - I hope this helped.
