Zanetti has been through the thick and through the thin of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and has had great history with the club as well; he has been their longest serving player having amassed an incredible amount of appearances for the Nerazzurri giants; with more than
800 appearances for the same club to his name; Zanetti is in a league of his own. Few can boast about the kind of loyalty and respect Zanetti has for the club, and his leadership skills are one to behold.
While commenting on the performances of his team and the immediate target that he is aiming for; the Argentinean has gone on to remark that he will be looking to finish off this year on a positive note.  He mentioned that they should follow in the same vein
of form they are under as of yet and mentioned that like the Coppa Italia victory against Chievo, they should aim for a win against Genoa as well.
The Beneamata outfit will be playing against the Grifone on the 18th match day of the Serie A, and after that the Christmas break for the players would begin. He went on to comment that a victory in their last match of the year would mean that
they go into the break on an extremely positive note and remarked that it will be good for the team as well.
While remarking on their position in the Lega and the strides that they have taken as of yet, Zanetti went on to remark that the team has bounced back well from their performances in the Lega. He was quoted to have said:
“A victory would help us end this calendar year in a good way. Following the Coppa Italia win over Verona, which was very important, we want to win on Saturday to enjoy a relaxed Christmas and recharge our batteries for the New Year.”
The legendary San Siro player would be hoping that they keep up the pressure against their domestic rivals, Juventus.
