The answer from short_circuit, to marry a Canadian as a way to get into Canada is quite incorrect. Time was, long ago, this strategy would work more often than not. However, Immigration has since tightened up this loophole and, while it is sometimes possible to marry in order to get into Canada to work, is just not  a guarantee and would raise a lot of suspicions very quickly. I would very strongly advise against such an action.

Getting Canadian work Visa is easier than that of US.

In brief, you should either be a qualified professional in your area of expertise with willingness to settle in Canada at some point of time in future or you should have a confirmed appointment letter from some company of reasonable standing there.

Don't take it for granted until conveyed that to you, as it is the absolute discretion of the officer at the Canadian High Commission even if you are completely eligible under some category.

Check the status of preferred vocations in Canada at the time of your application for work Visa. If you fall under any required category, your chances are bright if you fulfill other conditions.

Frankly telling you i just dont rely on Canada, i had applied once in the last week and i was refused my application saying i will not leave Canada if i was authorised to stay there, Buddy i have a 10 yrs visas for United States and United Kingdom as well i have traveled there for more the 7 times even then my application was refused.
