I want your opinion...?

Question

When i'm on the rode driving my little putt putt car and I see other drivers,some in brand new vehicles, drive wagon model cars I wonder why? I know this is just my opinion but I think that a wagon has too be the ugliest type of car ( Any wagon not just volkswagons). True, for the most part the passengers of these vehicles are a little on the older side, but you can occasionally catch a desperate houswife driving one(usually a mercedes wagon). So my fellow yahooers I must know why those who can afford to purchase luxury cars go for wagons?? Is there an advantage to buying one as appose to a coupe, sedan, or even a SUV? I must know. This maybe a stretch but when you answer, if you don't mind, please specify your age range.

the only reason i can see older people getting a wagon is because of the size they are. you can fit a lot more grocery's or people in them more comfortably than in a sedan. even though a sedan looks better they do have a down fall

I am 25 a male and have a 2003 Infiniti FX35  which is a small SUV. I got mine b/c it just looks good. It has alot of room and is not too bad on gas. Not that it gets drivin too much. Mine sits alot do to having another car and a company car.
