Hi,

I am going on my honeymoon May 2009. We have decided to do a bit of travelling around america. I'm sure I'll have more questions but for the moment all I'm concerned about is where to stay.

As part of honeymoon package we have the option of staying in Fantsea Resorts at Atlantic Palace, Atlantic City or Fantasea Resorts La Samana Briantine.

Which one do you recommend? How long would it take to get to Six Flags? Should we hire a car?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

  1. Can't really say on the hotel (never been to either) but you definitely need a car to get to Great Adventure from either of those places. There is no other way to get there (unless the hotel has a shuttle, which I doubt, since they are really not nearby). Check with the hotel. I am guessing about one hour from Brigantine, more from AC.

    Enjoy!!

BTW Great Adventure is in Jackson, NJ Exit 8 off NJ Turnpike (more inland than AC or Brigantine). You can do a mapquest search to find out exactly how far.

Also, you might want to check out Cape May. It's further south, but really a beautiful town, full of old Victorian B&B's and a nice beach and family atmosphere. For rides & such, check out Wildwood, just north of Cape May (and south of AC). Have fun! The Jersey Shore is great!

  2. Uhhh Atlantic City i had no service on my phone in the hotel maybe it was cuz we where on the 20th floor.  But idk about the hotels, Six Flags is like 30 min maybe i don't really remember on my way back to Northern New Jersey. But If dark knight is over 2 hours don't go unless you like kiddie rides

  3. six flags and remember to go on the dark knight
