  1. Any bass boat will do as long as its shiney. Has a huge outboard. Nothing less than a 175 hp motor. If you have a Bass Pro store nearby. They have some real good boats. Then the knowlege about the boats they sell. Lucky guy you husband is. Beats a new tie any day!

  2. Ranger, Skeeter, Tracker or Nitro.

    All good choices.

  3. Come on down to So. Cal I'll hook you up.

  4. My dad bought his dad a

    2006 32' Catamaran with twin 250 E-tec's.

    thats that boat to get.

but if your looking for something less expensive

just get him a 18-20ft Nitro bass boat with a 200hp Yamaha.

dont really wanna get any other brand out board..* not saying Merc/evinridde..extt are ***** just saying yamaha makes a good engine thats runs great in fresh/salt water.

  5. Look up Trackerboats.com there are a bunch of links to help you in your search. try Nitro bass boats. The tracker home page at the bottom are all kinds of links. Redding has a sales yard. Use the dealer finder for your Zip and there you go. good luck.

  6. OK, the problem with any cross use boat is which does it do best. You should figure out which you are going to do most of, and then realize the other side is a compromise. Example: a beautiful fish and ski for skiing will probably have to much upholstery for a day of fishing, and one misplaced hook will ruin it. A great fish and ski for fishing will probably be sparse in the creature comfort area, but great for a day with bait, fish, and the hook won't gouge that pretty vinyl. I reccommend you find a few brands you like the looks of, then go to boattraderonline.com and look at 2-4 years old. That will tell you the depreciation you will see over the first years. You will find that Tracker is a very inexpensive boat up front, and then the bottom drops out after a couple years. Bayliner, and most boats you can get in cheap have a poor resale, which means you lose as much as if you bought a little better product.
