Check out the Olympus Stylus 850SW. Waterproof to 10 feet, drop proof to 5 feet. Suggested $299.99 but diligent shopping should find it cheaper. Try here:

There are some good cameras on Amazon.com.

Also, you can check the Best Buy and Circuit City periodicals for them, or go into the store. I've seen one nice looking one in Best Buy for about $350.

Olympus Makes a  couple of different 8MP waterproof digicams (around $300)...I know they are available at futureShop (probably lots of other places too...

You can buy them at super markets. Or like the mall maybe. If you are at the beach or public pool (a pool you need to play money to get in) you can get them at the stand. You can buy them mostly at super markets though like Walmart, Target, K mart, and Walgreens.
