The items used to decorate, rattles and booties and pacifiers and tutus and stuffed animals can be found on Ebay and other internet shops/auction shops (will require you to buy them in large amounts to get the best prices, though).  However you will be hard pressed to find a considerable discount on diapers unless you are buying them by the pallet.  Start saving the coupons, is my best advice.  Price match and coupons will get you the lowest price on PREMIUM diapers.

order it online from a diaper company, or try somewhere that specialzes in bulk items like cost-co.  oh btw for those of you wondering what a diaper cake is, its a bunch of rolled up diapers that are strapped together then stacked to make it look like a cake. people have them at baby showers and stuff.
