I wanted to study either chemical/software engingeering...but i cant choose..ilove math.which has mo math????

i dont know if i like programming tho coz i havnt learned it...i like chemistry and physics but not the way i love math. am also good at I.T and i find it interesting....so pliz give me mo details bout chemical and software engineering???? thanks

  1. Both involve a lot of math. It can be hard to decide if something is right for you if you've never actually tried it, so you should try a couple of entry level classes for both majors and see how you like it. You should also look at the course requirements and descriptions as well as job profiles for graduates of each major.


  2. I am a Mechanical Engineer major with a Computer Science minor. I had never programmed before and I just decided to take a class because I saw a few of my friends programming.

    Once I started doing it I REALLY enjoyed it (as sad as that sounds) and decided to get a minor.

    I feel like majors such as Mechanical, Chemical, Civil and Electrical Engineering will give you a broader range of skills to begin with. They are not too specific. But knowing how to program is a good skill to have as well.

    You should take a few programming courses and see how you feel about them and then make a final decision.
