have you downloaded the program already and it won't allow you? have you check the minimum requirements for the pc, if so, does ur computer met the requirements? if yes.. try after a few hours , ( and reboot your computer ) maybe there's a delay in the system .. if the same problem persists-- call yahoo tech support.

Are you trying to install it on a computer at work? If, it is possible that your technical support guys have blocked people from installing software, including Yahoo! Messenger. In that case, try asking them for permission to install it. If you're trying to install it on your home computer, then can you post the exact error message you are getting when trying to install messenger?
