I'm 27 and have smoked since God knows when. I quit for a number of reasons. I was sick of spending so much money on it. I may need to pass a drug test for employment. Figured it has ruined my ambishion to do anything. Felt like it was making me dumb.

Thing is I feel not one bit different. Should I wait longer or what?

  1. After six weeks evidence is gone but in your brain its still cloudy and you just need to give it more time and keep yourself occupied I went through the same thing and it was really hard to stop I felt like inwas withdrawning cuz I would always be tired depressed uninterested and I would have tunnel vision and what not but I met this girl and now we've  been hanging out together everyday and I'm occupied so its gone just give it time and keep yourself busy and youll be good :)

  2. i smoke a lot of weed. listen six weeks is not much time.  if i were to try and get this out of my system at least give it 3-4 months. An when you decide to smoke again- call me up! J/k!

  3. Wait longer. It took my sister a while before she started to gain her mental clarity back, and she only smoked for a few years.

Wait longer, and whatever you do, don't go back to smoking pot. That's just a stupid choice to make. You did your lungs and especially your brain good by quitting.

  4. The most that it can do to quit is allow time to get your finances improved and maybe increase your memory. Marijuana isn't bad at all so the effects on long term smoking aren't very well known...so far there aren't any. What I could advise is to help yourself mentally. Is there something upsetting you? Try improving your diet to a more vegetable style and exercise more, get out of the house more and make yourself look fabulous until you feel confident and happy. I don't think that marijuana is your problem. Even if you make it purely casual it will be all right. Hopefully things get better hun.

Oh and you should watch Super High Me....it's on www.watch-movies.net

pretty much super size me but about pot and the effects on a comedian that has been a stoner most of his life.

  5. you'll feel better. especially your lungs unless you smoke cigs too. you're gonna be hornier though so be prepared.

i really didn't consider it's already been six weeks. i quit for a while and i felt better after a couple weeks. longer then that don't expect much change.

  6. the way you mostly feel better is knowing you quit/ knowing you arent just trying to get high anymore

  7. It's only been 6 weeks. Your body is probably just trying to flush out all the toxins and stuff.

Give it more time and maybe then you'll start feeling better.

Possibly you will find your ambition back, and you'll definetly feel more clear headed.

  8. yes wait longer, i quit for almost one year now and dont even miss it

  9. the brain cells are already dead.  no turning back now.
