I was a jerk but I want to make amense..?

Ok, I dated this girl for about two moths (this was a good two years ago) but I was getting over being betrayed by my closest of friends so I was unable to trust anyone or really let anyone in. I wont say that I was 'mean' to her but I made it pretty clear that I was being overly cautious with my heart at the time..and like anyone, she just became impatient. Anyway.. recently I decided that I am ready to let people in again and I thought of her cause we really did get along, the timing was just off. And, as luck would have it, she is a waitress at this restaurant that opened really close to my house. I saw her yesterday and she couldn't even look at me in the eye.. How do I get back in???

If she has a boyfriend you will have to move on.  There is nothing wrong with needing to have time to learn to trust and you were wise not to get invovled.  However, too bad you did not just tell her what you just told the world.  So now you will have to either take a chance and try to speak to her or buy a little cute card and chocolates or a small key chain or a single rose and tell her what you just told us - just don't say the "get back in" part sounds like a car.... good luck

if you really care about her tell her and try to make her listen, but if your not sure don't waste her time or yours!
