I was a member of a group that was private but now public& info that does need 2 b shared is being shared.HELP

Question

The group i joined almost 4 years ago that was private but is now public. When i google my name some information comes up that was not to be shared.... stupid me yes. It is in regards to medicine that I take and recently i was turned down for a job because of this. I am desperate to know how I can get this message deleted off this group. The moderator's e-mail bounces and yahoo has not been able to help me at all..... I am truly desperate.

I had a similar experience. My solution was a half-solution, but it's the best I could engineer on my own. I unjoined the group, which made my posts and messages vanish from the group. Within a few weeks, I stopped finding my posts among the results you see when you google or yahoo my user name. It takes time, but when it isn't on the web anymore, the search engine references to it will fade back considerably, if not totally disappear.

LEAVING A GROUP DOES NOT REMOVE POSTS OR FILES YOU HAVE THERE, IT ONLY REMOVES YOU

are you still a member of the group? if so, you can delete off your own post- find that post, cick to open it and on the upper left you'll see a delete tab
