I was a overseas Ham radio operator and want a UK license.?

My callsign was Z21GU, now I want a G license. I had a full license including morse. How do I go about this. Who do I deal with. I have my original certificates.

  3. Not sure how you apply but the radio licensing authority here seems to be under OFCOM now.  Have a look at this site:

  4. Hello there

    If your Zimbabwe license is still valid and you have all of your paper work and you can prove your identity you should be able to get a license transfer.

    You will likely also need to show your residence status for the UK.

    This is all handled by Ofcom in the UK.

    It may take some time for them to investigate what standard of education your original class license proved., and then they will be able to give you the appropriate class in a new UK license.

    Be patient , it may take some time.
