  1. take it.

  2. driver has insurance?

get a lawyer, you can get way, way more than that.

I mean, one whole heck of a lot more.

    Seriously.

  3. what the h**l is an owi?  maybe you mean a DWI or a DUI?  his insurance will pay your medical bills.  you wont get much for pain and suffering (the 500) as this is a soft tissue injury.  they want to give you 1000 for future medical?  i think i would hold out on that one.  it doesn't take much to rack up 1000 in medical bills these days.  talk tot he doctor you are seeing and ask him how long for you to recoup and how many more visits you may need.  this will give you a better idea of what your future medical bills may be.  don't settle on medical payment until you are satisfied you are fully treated.

  4. I'm not an expert on this, but I would suggest you take a tour here, there are expert's tips over there.http://car-insurance.bestips.info/car-in...

  5. Sounds like an extraordinary offer, I would take it!

It doesn't matter if he got an OWI, DUI, STD, ESL, etc.  The offer is based on your injury, not the violations the driver recevied.

  6. how old are you? i should think you are young because you cant seem to spell or punctuate well. if you are young your parents should be helping you to figure out what you should do. If you are an adult, you should  have continued physical therapy when you moved. the doctor you went to could have referred you to a new one. You probably wont get more money than what they are giving you unless you hire a lawyer and that will cost alot more money.

  7. My insurance company told me an offer of $500 is the company's way of asking you to sue them - I was laughed at when I told them what I was offered for my injuries!

$500 is nothing - you can get $8K for a minimal back injury & you should.  I will personally accept nothing less than 8K for my injury - and that's cheap for a lifetime of pain IMO.

$1K on medical bills is NOTHING- For my minor injury I had 3x that - AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH ME - get an attorney any time you are hurt!!

These people telling you to take it & run - the person who said it's an exceptional offer is lying to you - she is right it's an exceptional offer FOR THE INSURANCE company - remember it's not their job to look out for you they're looking looking out for their bottom dollar not you -

  8. Sounds to me you're $500 richer than you were before the accident.  Maybe you should take it and run.
