The child being a constant reminder of the crime of perhaps my father or brother, the chances of the child having mental problems and carrying the shame that these monsters have branded me with if I were the child. This Palin is trying to force this down our throats. Very sad.

  1. more than 90 % of woman that had abortion are not due to rape or incest.

  2. Absolutely not.

That's why I know I would never vote for Palin.

No woman/girl should be forced to carry a child that was conceived by force.

In a perfect world, we would not need abortion clinics.  But we don't live in a perfect world.  There are perverts out there and that's why I support abortions.

  3. Hard question... the perp of this incest should be executed tho... as should *ALL* child molesters...

  4. Amerika, love it or leave it....wait, I agree with you on this....you can stay.

  5. Well, if your mother and uncle wouldn't have had you then you wouldn't be here to ask these silly questions. Aren't you thankful for that?

  6. I support Palin, but not on that issue. Thats the magic of America, you can choose. A person should not be forced to follow through with an incest child. McCain agrees with you too, and remember he will be president, not her...so no worries.

  7. No one should be forced to carry a baby.

  8. I'm sorry for your pain. However, you have legal rights to take action regardless of the situation. If you can't afford it, most attorneys have to do a certain amount of pro-bono cases. Adoption is an option, and you will not have the thought of taking an unborn childs life on your hands. Counseling is also available, of which I hope you choose.

Palin had the option to abort her down-syndrome child and chose not to.

As far as her "forcing" this down your throat, the circumstances would more than likely be taken into account as to the abortion option and what the attorney says could be your legal options.

We've been doing this to our unborn children for over 4 decades and there are people out there waiting to adopt, instead of us copping out.

  9. yes.

  10. itns not the newborns fault

  11. I think you should have the child and give it up for adoption if you don't want it...But I think now that it is conceived you should give it a chance at life...who knows..he or she might be our president someday or do something great to help millions. I understand it is the product of ancestral rape but that baby had nothing to do with that...Give it a chance at life !

  12. Well by your own accounts .. one would have expected you to have seen doctor, when there was the 1st indication that you may be pregnant.

Your father and brother should now be in jail and the decision on whether or not you could abort would depend on how far along your pregnanacy is.

1.2 million abortiong in the US each year.

That's more than the too leading causes of death (900,000(

There is a problem that should be addressed.

In your example, if your father or brother had forced you tao have s*x, you should have at the 1st opportunity gone to a hospital or clinic, which among other things could have evaluated the risk of pregnancy and taken appropriate medical procedures to reduce the risk.

Besides females having the right to decide what to do with their bodies, they also need to take responsiblity of what happens to their body.

PS; I am pro-choice but not as an excuse

  13. Everyone's case is different, let's try to keep that in mind as a Nation.

  14. Nobody is forced to carry a child. It is always the mother's decision. Forcing somoene who was raped or an incest victim to carry the child that resulted from this is a terrible thing to do. It tells a lot about Palin's character. If any of her daughters would be raped, she would drive them to the closest abortion clinic in a heartbeat. It is inhumane to let a woman go through all this. The baby did nothing wrong that's true. But the woman either. And she for sure deserve the right to choose.

  15. ignorance is bliss! just because Palin believes this does not mean it applies to American citizens. try and think of something better if you are going to bash someones personal beliefs.

  16. According to Palin, yes, you should. Isn't that ridiculous.  I lost a friend to a coat-hanger abortion back in the days before it was legal. Her father got her pregnant. He was a church elder and didn't want anyone to find out that he sexually abused his daughter. So this issue is very emotional for me. The next president will be able to appoint supreme court judges so it is possible to get Roe vs Wade over-turned. Young people who care about reproductive rights have to get their heads out of the sand and realize this is the goal of the pro-life people and they could actually pull it off.

  17. No. You have the right to choose... And as long as Sarah Palin is kept far away from the white house, you will retain that right.

  18. First of all when a woman or young girl has been brutalized sexually by anyone through rape(as I am sure you did not consent to incestuous s*x) then no I do not feel they should be forced to carry the child if that is not their desire. Personally I would carry the child to term and put it up for adoption. I am an RN and work in obstetrics there is no guarantee that a child of incest will be mentally challenged. My sister in law is mentally retarded(that's what it was called in the 50's you know before we all got so PC) she is 49 years old and has the mentality of about a six year old child. She was not a result of incest but no one would be able to tell how she came to be the way she is as she does not have a recognizable problem like Downs. Her MR is a result of forceps damage during birth, (back before everybody sued every doc in the world). As for the "monsters" well that's the everyday common man, woman, and child on the street who, in this day of enlightenment have yet to learn not to STARE at those different than them.

  19. It is sad that they want to support young girls to go through pregnancy if they were raped.....

  20. That's exactly what Palin believes.  She would make no exception for rape or incest.  She would force women to have these babies.  She is the ultimate right wing nut job.  Given McCain's age if he is elected in November, she also has a good chance at becoming the 45th president.  Scary stuff.  What was McCain thinking?

John McCain has sold out to the neo-cons.  If he becomes president and he gets to pick another justice or two for the Supreme Court they will reverse Roe v. Wade, and that will be that.  No more legal abortions.

  21. Why don't people get real, these are her own personal beliefs, I think shes smart enough to know not everyone shares her beliefs and they would never go for them, I doubt McCain agrees with her 100%. She said shes against g*y marriages but shes for people have companions and having the same rights as married couples. And for her believing in "creationism" she has said if they teach one in school they should teach the other.

  22. Two wrongs don't make a right.  Why should you be able to murder a child just because you are a survivor of incest?  You don't have an argument at all.  Cancer has been shown as being hereditary.  If your parents have cancer should you have been aborted "just as a precaution"?  If a woman is pregnant with a criminals baby, should she kill it "just as a precaution"?   YOU are very sad.

  23. If you were a child of incest, would you want to be killed for someone else's crime?

Once again, Liberal's lack of moral clarity confuses the victim and the perpetrator.

  24. If... If... If... Pro-Choicers are always trying to throw out the most horrendous, bizarre IF's imaginable to justify abortions... when in reality, abortions are overwhelmingly done by girls/women who just find their pregnancy to be "inconvenient."

Another reality... abortions will NEVER be totally outlawed. But they are entirely TOO easy to get now. What should, and hopefully will, happen is that the justification will be more narrowly defined.

Even John Kerry... you might remember him... said that he did not believe in abortions. He's Catholic, you might remember. His beliefs did not stop him from recognizing a woman's right to choose.

  25. Well I will say this, that no matter which candidate stands for what, there is no easy choice.  Abortion is something that is not so easily decided.  There are two sides to this.  Sure we could say that you should have the right to an Abortion if you were indeed the victim of incest.  However on the other hand you have those that oppose abortion because it is killing a human life.  So there is no easy choice.  When dealing with abortion there is no middle ground.  Right now the way our system is set we have it where women have a choice to either keep or destroy the child.  So if what you are saying is true I am sorry that this has happened to you.  I really don't know what to say about this issue but I do know that destroying a human life is wrong.

  26. No, but if the choice is to  have an abortion, it should be done in the first trimester.  Or, if possible, carry to term, and the the baby could be put up for adoption.

Roe v Wade will not be overturned.   It might be put back to the states or with limits.  Limits would be OK with me.

  27. Yes, It's not the childs fault, its yours.

  28. Forced is a strong word, but while difficult it is a child that can lead a fulfilling life. You would not have to raise it, adoption is great alternative.

  29. If you do, give it up for adoption.
