i was accepted for grad school in australia where my girlfriend lives (she is an Australian citizen). i plan on marryin her mid school year. will this affect my student visa? will it change to a different visa? if so which one? after school i do plan on stayin in australia to work and live there. after graduating a year after the marriage, will i be able to work in australia?

You can propose to her and when you are married you can apply for a change of your status and get a visa to remain and work/study in Australia.
