I was applied for passport 11 weeks ago but i dont know my file reference no.?

It must be mention on the receipt of the cash/check when you submitted it, some time they take time, have your police verification goes positive? is any person from police department came to your permanent address for verification, if yes the you have to wait, no option, or if not when ever he come just give him chai-pani, so that he can process your file fast....because in new passport police department takes lots of time.....

"i was applied". like what does that mean? huh?  i do believe you mean, "i applied for a passport....". watch those verbs, ok?  taken and used incorrectly changes your whole sentence and meaning. now with your passport? that takes time. those applying for them have been told that it could be as long as six months or more. patience, patience. if you needed that passport like yesterday? oh well. shoulda' applied last year! and by the way, if you are a foreign-born naturalized american, your passport would take even longer as they investigate your life.
