  2. You shoud be getting something or some info pretty soon from the Social Security Administration. If your local office is nearby you should call or visit them for an update. The smoothest way to get your benefit is through direct deposit. If they have collected that information from you, you should have an ETA and a be informed of when the first payment is forthcoming.
