It really depends what you were "Specifically" charged with.

I'm sure that "crossing someone across the us mexico border" is not the terminology they used on your charge sheet.It would probably be a charge more like Aiding and Abetting or Accomplice or Accessory etc.or worse.Who charged you? Federal, State, Local? Once You have the correct charge and jurisdiction it's easy enough to look up.
