  1. ok

  2. The tank top would not be acceptable to wear in church, but shorts I wear all of the time to church.

  3. that church is not your's you have to find a church that excepts you the way you are. God made you who you are. you ran across a hypocrite. i'm sorry!!!! not all christians are like that. we're not suppose to judge. that's between you and your maker. and yes the devil will use Christans to further his campaign. there are churches out there who are not persnickety about dress codes. others are very strict. try a different church.when you find the right one you will know.

  4. That's crazy! God doesn't care what you wear to church so why should someone else. You were nice enough to consider to go to church and that should matter. You should not have told the guy that though. Just because he was disrespectful doesn't mean you have to be. The devil costume would be funny, but not at a church.

  5. wtf, they're snobs.

finish your 9th beer and go terrorize them with your devil costume

  6. So what's your question? Ranting is against the community guidelines.

That said, you'd get sent home from your job, too, if you did that and worked in a professional setting. Churches are a set context, and many (but not all) have dress codes. If you don't like it, find a different church to go to.

  7. oh wow..

    some churches do that

you have to dress nicely and what not

and some churches you can wear what ever you fee comfortable in

but i dont think you should have told him 'f u k you'

that was rude and wrong on your part because he did say you can come back.

  8. Well it depends on what church you were in. I know my church probably wouldn't care...some of the older members would probably mumble about it, but wouldn't ask you to leave since you are there to worship God. However, if you came into God's house using curse words, you would probably be asked to leave since there are other people trying to worship.

  9. s***w those people.  Church is between you and God.  Not them.

  10. There should be no dress code for church. You should be able to come as you are. Jesus is married to the sinner and you are just what he is looking for.

  11. thats bullshit.

  12. Nice. You should just skip church; it's not worth going to.

  13. troll

  14. Have another beer :)

  15. My goodness.  I do miss the good ol' days of wearing your Sunday best to church.  After all it is a community gathering and you want to make a good impression.  One of those church goers could be your future employer or the banker when you go to get a car loan or mortgage.

  16. And well you should have been asked to leave.  How very disrespectful.  Church has some decorum.  You weren't going to a beach party and one outfit does not fit all occasions.  Take the time to be respectful or forget about it.

  17. yes you need to be in church.  wear  a pair of clean, non-ripped jeans and a clean, non-ripped t-shirt.  this would get you in our church.  if you have a clean suit the better.  but showing to much skin is not recommended.  the only statement you would make with the devils costume is you have no respect for the people or their church.  and the devil does care what you wear.  if you keep going this way, you'll find out soon enough.

  18. At Mass on Sunday I see Parishioners dressed in different ways. When a family member gets married, has a first Communion or confirmation, then families typically get dressed up. I would imagine that different Churches have different rules as far as attire.

  19. god dosnt care wat u wear to church as long as its not that devil costume

  20. God doesn't care what you wear to Church.  He's just happy that you showed up.  As long as your clothes aren't ripped or body parts aren't hanging out, it shouldn't be a problem.  It's a liturgical service, not a fashion show, or who can outdress the neighbors.  That really angers me.

  21. Maybe it was the jesus sandals you where wearing that was just to much for them to handle.

  22. I think you need church and a change of mind and heart.  Because someone asked you to change your clothes to go into THEIR church, you said **** you and got drunk?  They have a right to have their own dress code.  if you don't like it don't go there.  Go to another church that doesn't care what you wear.  Solving problems is not my cursing at people and you better do something about the drinking problem buddy!

  23. Well no **** you have to be in formal uniforn.  Christ, its like going to a wedding and not wearing a tuxedo and instead wearing street clothing.  Uniform is good in a person, an it shows respect, doesn't matter if its religious or not.

And obviously you are trolling when you say you are on your ninth beer or even if you had the never to say **** you to the guy, or even to curse your own religion.

  24. I don't think it's that big of a deal. Going to church is for yourself and who cares what you wear? But the beer thing.. That might've been a tad disrespectful.

  25. Every church is different. Since you are in God's house, maybe a pair of nice capris and button up blouse would be more appropriate.

  26. ............... What kind of Christian are you?..................... No wonder he wouldn't let you in with that foul mouth. I wouldn't, either.

  27. I don't think God cares how you're dressed as long as you believe in him. You don't need a church to worship him. Actually I prefer places like the wilderness mountains or deserts to worship. When you spend lots of time outdoors you see the big picture and realize the c**p that organized religions are trying to poison your mind with. The members of a church should welcome you and support your desire to be there and share your belief in God. It is not exclusive to them and they have no authority to be judgmental, that is left to a higher authority. You probably wouldn't be with a clear mind after 9 beers though. I,myself, prefer to have a clear mind most of the time. Even a Devil's costume is OK in God's church, he enjoys a good laugh too. He knows I've worn my share of faces.

  28. there is a dress code for church

but god doest care what you wear

the devil costume if funny but

don't wear it to a church

    that's disrespect full.

go to a church that doest have a dress

    code

  29. If you said the whole f U n everything you really weren't with it to start, admit it. That said I was appalled and stopped going to a church because they made a man that was obviously in a crisis and seeking Gods help, take off his hat or leave. I think he didn't want to take it off because he looked so terrible and was embarrassed. He sat respectfully in the back but they made a scene with him anyway. You could have expressed your sudden desire asked if they could make exception this time and you could come in attire more suited to their congregation in the future. May be just find a more relaxed church to attend.

  30. I'm an athiest, but I have gone to church with my friend acouple times.

It seems there is a dress code, and when I was on a cruise in europe we went to a visit an old european church and even thought it was 50 degrees out, we weren't aloud to wear tank tops, shorts, not even caprees. Just the way it is I guess. Even though I don't believe in god, I would have thought God wouldn't care what you wear ( as long as it's not your underwear ). But I guess the people at church feel dressing formally is a way of respecting their god. That devil costume of yours would definantly stirr things up a bit.... I wouldn't try it.

  31. I've never heard that God requires a dress code to attend his place of worship. But out of respect for him and the other worshipers you may want to dress a little better next time,or not go at all.

If it were me I would find a different church to attend. Heck,I've seen people wear bib overalls to church and the people there make you feel right at home. Maybe you could find a church that worships the devil instead of God so you will feel right at home wearing your old devil costume. Good luck.
