I was ask to research on the topic of "Normal human Labor (or Childbirth) process" in our Nursing class

Question

is episiotomy and fetal breech presentation can be considered as a part of a "Normal human Labor (or Childbirth) process" ?

For me episiotomy and fetal breech presentation is not a part of a "Normal human Labor (or Childbirth) process".

please i want to hear your personal opinion in my question above. and please support your answer why is it normat or not.

I'm pretty sure episiotomy is not a complication. There have been plenty of studies out that say it decreases healing time.  

However, breech position is a complication, and must be treated differently than "normal" childbirth.
