It depends on how the children behave and what your typically going to do. For three children $8-12 sounds pretty reasonable I think. I know people who are about the same age that charge more, but that's kind of pushing it.

That sounds reasonable. My parents used to pay the babysiter $6 a hour for me and my two brothers, but that was like 5 years ago.

Ask the parents what they normally pay.

I would charge 10 for each child. You also might ask how the kids behave and if they behave bad then raise the price

Honestly, it depends on where you live.  If you are in a large city you could probably get more money. If you are in a small town. I used to pay my babysitters $3 an hour for 2 kids! That was what they asked for...

Also, the 10 year old is probably pretty self suffecient. So you will not need to do much for her.  I would say that $3 per kid is fair.  so $9 per hour.. but then I normally round to the nearest $5.   So if you are watching them for 3 hours it would be $30.

You should charge for each child, $8 for all 3 is too cheap.  I would say $12-$15 an hour for all 3.

I have a 14 yr old that babysits all the kids in the neighborhood....The going rate among her and her friends is $3.00 per HOUR per KID.  I also know some adults in the family that babysit & they ALL charge the same amount.  So, because there's 3 girls, you charge $9.00 an hour. Good Luck!
