I was asleep one night and a black shadow was in front of me and i could not move . can some one help me?

There is such a thing as sleep paralysis's, That would have made it very difficult for you to move... Now as for the dark shadow that could have been a spirit or a demonic spirit... But demonic spirits can only prevent you from moving if it was sitting on you or if it was in possession of your body...... Now I do believe in spirits and all but this is a common occurrence of sleep paralysis and a scary male figure is part of the whole syndrome.  I have had this occur a couple of times to me too.  I couldn't move and I was sure there was a man in the hallway outside my door the other time I swore I could hear someone talking outside and I could not move at all and I was very scared.  I struggled to move and no matter what I did I couldn't move a muscle.  After I struggled I finally could move and found that no one was there.  I think it happens more when we eat food sprayed with pesticides.  They paralysis the bugs and that's how it kills them.  I talked with this woman who lived on an organic commune they bought some tomatoes from a guy who swore that the tomatoes were clean but that night everyone in the group had similar dreams of sleep paralysis and a shadowy scary figure.  Don't worry it happens Blessed be.

There are different sleep states that you go through. When the 'body' is asleep but the mind is still active it produces a state of sleep paralysis to prevent the body from physically reacting when the brain is not fully conscious as a form of protection.

Some people have the ability to 'sleep walk' which is usually an indication of someone suffering from anxiety.

Don't be unduly concerned by a 'black shadow' appearing in front of you. It doesn't mean it was malicious in intent. Whilst the brain in Alpha state it is quite common to see glimpses of things you would not ordinarily see.

Unless this reoccurs think no more of it. It was a fleeting experience that is unlikely to happen again and the paralysis was nothing to do with what you saw.

My Mom used to have that happen to her.Her Dad killed his wife then committed suicide.She always thought it was him coming after her years later. I told her it may have been the demon that drove him to it. It happened to me a few times,the more I was involved in Church ,the more it happened with hooded figures like the" death guy" trying to hold me down. I managed to force my mouth open and say "Jesus" in my dream amd they let go.It happened a few more times and I believe the power of the name of Jesus ,drove them away permanently.I'm not preaching just telling the truth.

Look its either evil or good. You could have been paralized ffom the shock. This one time i had a similar encounter, only i didnt see anything tho. I just heard evil laughter. What you do is that you call out "JesusChrist" and pray, and maybe spray Holy water here and there. Also, next to your bed, place a glass of water (make sure its clear) and leave it there to clarify things. Oh, and also, once a week change the water with new water.
